Isabelle Hargis died , the first family of children went to live with an uncle FARLEY. Hick married Matilda soon after that. Arlie's oldest childs name is spelled Cledith Deckard.

Arlie C. Deckard, 86, Indianapolis, Ind., died Feb. 3, 2000.
She was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
She was the widow of Lawrence J. Deckard, who died in 1979.
Survivors include five sons, Cledith, Rondle, Charles Ivan, Bobby,
and Claudie Deckard; two daughters, Nelda Whitmore and Sherry Unland; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 7, at the Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel. Burial was at the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.

My husband and I just celebrated our 45th anniversary. March 30, 2007. We have 2 boys and 2 girls, all married - 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandkids. We live in Madison, IN. I drove a school bus for 27yrs before retiring. Carl and I spent the winter in FL and plan to make that a habit. We sold our farm in 2006 and now live in a 5th wheel on 5 acres we kept. My first job after High School was in the United States Air Force as a medic. This is probably Michael's father: Clair William Golay 77, Fishers, died April 27, 2007, at home. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline Hinds Golay, and his three children, Michael Golay, Susan Golay Hope, and Christine Golay. He leaves his grandchildren, Jack Hope and Andy Hope, and his step grandchildren, James Ladwig and Elizabeth Leamon, and will be remembered by his brother, David Golay, and his sisters, Barbara Peters and Eunice Ferguson. Born January 3, 1930 in Indianapolis, he was a 1948 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School. Mr. Golay lived in the Indianapolis area his entire life and, since 1973, maintained a summer home on Lake Wawasee in Syracuse, Indiana. Mr. Golay was the president of H. C. Schumacher Machine Company, where he began work as a machinist in 1951. He soon rose to leadership of the company, which he oversaw for more than a half-century until his retirement in January 2007. Family and a wide circle of friends and business associates will remember Mr. Golay for his generosity, his youthful spirit, his gift for hospitality and, above all, for his love of his family and friends. In both his private and business life, he valued fairness, integrity and a job well done.

Harry and Charlene Beaty completed a course April 2009, in Monterey, CA to become volunteers for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. As volunteers, they will paddle out into the Bay, greet visitors who are kayaking the bay, and education them about preserving the sea life, and explain what things are. Harry and Charlene were not friends in high school. Harry rode his motorbike down from Santa Cruz and Charlene peddled over from her house 6 blocks away from the class. Small world.

Stephen F. Bloomer of Plainfield died Oct. 8. He was 62.

Born April 25, 1944, in Indianapolis, he was a son of the late Carl E. and Louise (Johantges) Bloomer. He was a widower of Marcia Hannon.

Mr. Bloomer graduated from Ben Davis High School and attended Wabash College. He worked five years as an estimator and in sales at Becker Landscape. He had previously worked as a time study estimator at Link-Belt from 1965-90.

Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie K. King; brothers Carl, David, Tom, and Joe Bloomer; a sister, Mary Griffin; a grandson, Patrick King; and a close friend, Mary Jo Bell.

Her mother, Katherine F. Hannon, 89, died at 1:10 p.m. Nov. 23, 2004, at Morgan Hospital & Medical Center in Martinsville.

The daughter of the late Carroll Flynn and Mary Elizabeth (Mastin) Flynn, she was born Jan. 29, 1915, in Kinzua, Pa. She was the widow of John Robert Hannon, whom she married April 2, 1942. He died June 8, 1990.

Hannon was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years. She taught at Avon Elementary School and at Custer City, Pa.

She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church and a graduate of Kinzua High School and received her teacher's certificate from Edinboro University in Philadelphia.

She was active in the Wilbur Community Club and was a member of the Indiana State Teachers' Association and enjoyed china painting.

Survivors include a son, John M. Hannon, Martinsville; two daughters, Cheryl Clossey, Martinsville and Jeanne Clossey, Bloomington; two brothers, Charles Flynn, Buffalo, N.Y., and Stanley Flynn, Naples, Fla.; a sister, Marie Perry, Warren, Pa.; nine grandchildren, Stephanie King, Patrick, Josh, Erin, Colbey and Brodey Clossey, and Melanie, Matthew and Ashley Hannon, and four great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Marcia Bloomer, and two sisters, Irene Kleinberger and Geraldine Davis, also preceded her in death.

Danny Harvey passed away on Thursday Dec 2, 2010. He is survived by Audrey Stiegman Harvey; daughters Sherri and Heather; granddaughter Savanah; stepsons Jerold and Jordan Stiegman; step grandchildren Josh, Codi, Justin, Austin, Madison and Joseph Stiegman; also, four brothers Bob, Steven, David and Jerry. He is preceded in death by his parents Madge and Harold, sisters Sherry and Shirley. He was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, always proud of his Brightwood roots. He was born August 22, 1944. He worked in the machine tool business most of his life, he excelled in voice over work. Danny was an avid reader, golfer and tennis player. A member of Five Seasons Sports Club. Her mother-in-law:  Edith V. Mabry 87, went home to be with Jesus on December 27, 2005. She retired from Indiana University School of Dentistry on December 12, 1986. She loved crossword puzzles, gardening and studying medical journals. Her desire to learn all she could about the medical field was instilled in her by her grandfather who was a doctor; she was so pleased that two of her granddaughters are pursuing careers in medicine. She was born in Gamaliel, Kentucky on February 17, 1918. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm M. Mabry; her first-born son, Franklin Eagle Mabry; and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Willard J. Mabry, Rockville, IN; daughters Juanita S. Kivett of Avon, IN, Patricia A. Prince of Gold Canyon, AZ, five grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
